Junk Wax Era

The sports card boom in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s, featuring seriously mass produced products is referred to as the Junk Wax Era. Cards could be found in every corner store, and Local Card Shops were popping up all over the place. Very few cards from this era hold any significant value.
