Professional Sports Authenticator

Commonly known as PSA, Professional Sports Authenticator is the card grading arm of California based company Collectors Universe Inc.

You’ll recognize PSA graded cards by their red and white labels and they work on a 10 point scale using only whole numbers. Everyone is shooting for their ‘Gem-Mint’ grade of 10. Their grading service fees are on a per card basis, and depend on both the turn-around time and end value of the card in question.

They will also grade tickets to sporting events and unopened packs of cards, along with both grading and authenticating autographs.

Collectors Universe is now owned by a group including the new owner of the New York Mets, Steve Cohen.
