If you live in a decent sized city, there’s a good change there’s at least one Local Card Shop (LCS) where you live. Over the past couple years, with the popularity of the industry on an upswing, they are currently popping up in more and more places.
If you’re lucky enough to have one near you, it’s a great place to get plugged in to the hobby. You can pick up product and supplies that you can’t find at big box retailers, meet other collectors that share your interest and buy, sell and trade cards. If one near you has a ‘Trade Night’ or regular gathering, go check it out. It can be a solid opportunity to network with like-minded people and learn the ins and outs of the hobby as well.
